Another beginner-friendly option is Vipe.io, a community all about making avatar creation easy for everyone, no matter how much tech know-how you have.

If you frequent Decentraland, they have a nifty export feature you will want to explore. Decentraland lets you export a VRM from in-world. You can then take these avatars to other platforms or you can upload to your favorite 3D modeling program for customization.

Customizing Existing VRMs

Got a bit of experience under your belt? You've got options to tweak and modify existing models. Blender is a go-to for many. It's a 3D modeling software that's great for adding your own flair - think new accessories or texture tweaks. It's a bit more complex, but awesome for those with some know-how.

Unity is another powerful tool to play around with. Import your VRM files into Unity and start tweaking using its features and plugins. It's a bit more advanced but great if you're familiar with it.

This approach lets you get really detailed, but it's definitely for those who know their way around 3D modeling and animation.

Blender is a solid pick for pro VRM creators too. It's got everything you need to create, tweak, and perfect your VRMs, and it's pretty versatile in terms of what you can do with it.
